The Acadian Cultural Center gives visitors a taste of the history of the Acadians, 17th-century French Colonists, and their affect on the region, through unique exhibits. The center is located right next to the Lafayette Regional Airport, near Lil' Woods Park. Rangers at the center lead boat-trips along the Bayou Vermillion, exploring the natural wonders of the Atchafalaya Basin.
