Acadian Village is a recreation of what a 19th-century Acadian town would look like, including a selection of Louisiana antiques. The village is located on the western outskirts of town, near the Mall of Acadiana. The earliest house in the village, the Bernard House, was originally built around 1800 and features an incredible example of the bousillage entre poteaux insulation type used during the period.
